July marked the 20th anniversary for Deposit Control Systems (DCS).

In 1996 Tom and Sandy Myers purchased the distribution rights for BG Products for 26 counties in Upstate New York. From the start they grew the business by developing partnerships with small independent shops, single franchised dealers and large dealer groups.

In 2008 DCS virtually doubled in size geographically, adding 27 additional counties that include the cities of Binghamton, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Utica.

2010 saw the move to a larger warehouse in Cohoes with enough space to accommodate up to 30 people for sales meetings and customer training.

With a focus on fleets and municipalities, fuel maintenance services were launched in 2012. The services include fuel storage tank cleaning, fuel polishing, fuel treatment and a full line of preventive maintenance services for medium and heavy duty trucks.

Through it all Tom, Sandy and the DCS sales and support team have stayed focused on customer support and training that have allowed them to grow to become one of the largest BG Products distributors in North America.
